National Archives description: "On army maneuvers in North and South Carolina, 1941. Consists mostly of brief scenes of representative activities by various branches, corps, and special troops.
Reel 1, tents are erected, communications are set up, and supplies are unloaded. An evacuation hospital is established. Artillery is "fired" and horses pull guns and supplies to various positions.
Reel 2, horses are groomed and then carry guns and cavalry troops to battle areas. Shows simulated combat. Engineers build various kinds of bridges. An air field is constructed and used. Paratroops and airborne troops go into action."
